DISTRACTION MAGAZINE

Photography || Head Photo Editor

Distraction Magazine is a sophisticated, high-gloss quarterly magazine that is committed to defining the culture of University of Miami’s student body. As a photo editor, I was responsible for the conceptualization and procurement of all the photos in the magazine. Every issue, I sat with the editor-in-chief and helped her create the budget, then sent it out to assisting and contributing photographers and made sure they take their photos and met their deadlines. I was also responsible for shooting covers, fashion spreads and my own individual spreads, as well as toning, proofing, redacting captions and assisting with overall design edits.

The pages I have created or contributed to are depicted in these slideshows.
